It’s my one year blog-iversary!
When I started this blog, I didn’t know what I was doing, and I didn’t know what to expect. I figured a few people would read my stories, and I’d post a story every week or so and eventually let the whole blog fall away.
Instead, it is a year later, and I am consistently writing and posting (even if it is not as much as I would like). I have created a comfortable niche for myself with paranormal erotica (and some mundane erotica). I think like my writing is improving with every story.
And I found a fabulous community of smut writers!
I love the community around Masturbation Monday, Sinful Sunday, and Kink of the Week, plus all of the encouraging and wonderful writers on Twitter.
I posted one of my favorite series about Tarot Cards that started from a prompt on Friday Flash which I miss as a meme.
I have been in the top three for Masturbation Monday and Wicked Wednesday. My story “Stolen Penis” was in the top three for Elust 105.
“Rainy Day Lover” was nominated for SexBytes.
I joined Molly’s February Photo Fest and overcame some of my body issues by posting a photo every day. It was a challenge, but it let my nesting partner join me in blog-land by being my photographer a couple times.
In April, I joined Tabitha Rayne’s 30 Day Orgasm Fun, and while I didn’t make it every day, I did orgasm on quite a few of them.
One of my early Masturbation Monday stories, “A Day in the Park,” was read by John Brownstone for the Masturbation Monday Podcast. It is both exciting and strange to hear my own words read back to me.
In January, I decided to start editing and publishing the manuscript of my novel Twilight of the Gods, every two weeks. This was a huge step for me, given some complicated emotional issues I have around my writing and that novel in particular. The response has been so positive! The editing process has helped me improve the manuscript , and I’ve learned that I really like my story – I love the world I’ve created.
I regularly post flash fiction pieces on Twitter for the hashtags, #VSS365, #Horrorprompt, #SciFiFri, and #SciFansat – I started compiling it here. I’m working on a long running story that combines fairy tales and science fiction, as well as one offs and story starters.
I have one outstanding goal left for this year, and that is to edit and self publish one of my collections.
Some blog statistics
My most read story remains, “Underdressed” followed closely by “Stolen Penis” (and I’m so disappointed in myself for not naming it the Purloined Penis).
I’ve posted 140 times, not including my novel and flash fiction.
My longest series, Victoria’s Mummy is over 20,000 words long. I believe my Julia stories are a close second in size.
I’m sure I missed some of the projects I have participated in – and I sincerely apologize to any creators I forgot to mention.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for commenting. Thank you for encouraging me. And thank you for wanking to what I write.
XOXO,
Lascivious Lucy
Happy blog anniversary.

I think it is no secret that your are one of my favorite, if not the, of all sex writers. Your stories are consistently original, sexy, and so clever. Combined with your talent to search out the perfect vintage illustrations your stories are the cream of the crop. My first read was of Caroline and the tarot cards, I even purchased the Manara Erotic Tarot she used. Congratulations on your anniversary, Lucy, I’m looking to another year of erection producing stories.

Thank you Elliott! I appreciate your enthusiasm for my stories do much.
The Manara deck is lovely. A girlfriend just picked up the Tarot des Femmes Erotiques that I need, and I think you’d love.

Happy Bloggiversary – I agree with Elliott, I think your stories combined with the vintage pictures and the paranormal subject matter make your blog my favourite for erotica. What wonderful achievements thus far, and great plans for the future, you’re making great strides forward. Keep going with the Smut Marathon if you can, would love to see you as a finalist, and I’m a big fan of your Temple novel.
