1. What was your favorite part of yesterday?

Talking politics over udon noodles with a datefriend. Even if he we didn’t agree, he’s still good company. Dating him is amazing.

2. If you could make your own porn movie, what would you call it? Would you write it, direct and/or star in the movie?

I feel like my answer should be “write it” because that’s what I do, write. But I can’t imagine that anything I would write would be made into a film. I admit, I have a bias here, I find porn films to be boring.

3. What do you like the least about sex?

Dishonesty. I still find a lot of people are dishonest about their desires or intentions regarding sex. It’s sad to me that I keep running across mostly men, mostly my age or a little older who have never explored sex and sexuality. I understand that it took me time to figure out my own sexuality and my own desires, but I find it less than appealing in a sexual relationship at this point in my life.

Beyond that it’s a split between: cleaning up after, having to pee, and/or having to drive home.

4. So, now what are you planning to do?

I’m waiting for a friend to arrive so we can go and see a movie. Update – went to see the movie. [Update] Had a good time, at a fun movie. We had stellar nerd conversation about Star Trek on the drive home… but I do need to process whether this is a person I want to keep dating. It’s awful, perhaps, but I think he might be too normal for me – too stuck in social norms? I don’t think I’m explaining this well. I recognize that I’m weird; a friend once called me Stevie Nicks with a BDSM edge. So maybe I’m viewing him as too conventional? Maybe he is too conventional?

5. If you were a box of cereal, what would you be and why?

Count Chocula – it’s the only Halloween themed cereal that is sold year round; thus, they understand that every day is Halloween.

Bonus: If you could shrink down to ant-sized, what would you do?

I think I’d like to explore the world from that vantage point. What would a human look like from that view? What would my home look like? I keep flashing back to movies like the Incredible Shrinking Man or old Dr. Shrinker episodes from my childhood. I loved the sets with people using thimbles as tables and stuff.

Does anyone else remember this show? It was part of the re-reuns of the Sid and Marty Krofft Hour when I was young.
