Tonight was date night – with my city largely still in lockdown (COVID restrictions), our date events are far more limited. Tonight we took a drive to a lovely little “old town” area. Usually it is bustling with shops and people, but with the restrictions almost everything was closed and very people were around. It gave me the opportunity to take some great pictures of the area while it was wonderfully empty (and a delightfully spooky).

I love that I captured the shaft of light intersecting the line of the trees.
